Augustus Sawyer, also known in his nickname as Akira, is the chosen Wielder of King Jethro's Deity and Peace element and is one of the main characters of Kirsten Nimwey's first and featured novel series, The Explorers.

Akira is a non-Explorer Wielder of Deity and Peace, which they believe to be the second of the most important element among fourteen elements. He is a member of Pioneer, a rival group of Explorers and the only son of Pioneer's former leader, Alexander Sawyer.
Akira wields a weapon of long spear with a cross-shaped head. He is very quick, wise, and a little aggressive person. He has a unique "Full Jump ability", which he can jump higher and longer than Kenji.
Trivia[]
- Akira's primary weapon is cross-headed spear, but if you look at his appearance in The Explorers, you will see him holding a staff instead of a spear.
- His element was called, God and Peace. Then, the word "God" changed to "Deity".
